fattythecatty
I have 3 young angels, about 5-6cms not including tail. They all look he same to me. Have looked for bumps on their heads and curved chests but still they look the same! What should I be looking for?
alanmin4304
The "belly" on a female (between the pectoral and anal fins) tends to be horizontal and on males at 45 degrees. Female has the big egg laying tube and lays the eggs. The males realy only get the bump on the forehead when old. Best thing is to trust them-- they know. smidey
Female has the big egg laying tube and lays the eggs. Nice! The only way to confirm what sex they are is the egg depositing tube, which on the female is much larger than the tube of the male.
