Caryl
All over? How old is it? How quickly did it change colour? Does it appear otherwise well? What size tank is it in? Do you have water test results? What other fish are with it?

Jim Sy
it is in an 80L tank with couple koi angels, couple pearl goramis, green tiger barb , 3 swords and 4-5 serpae tetras and a bristle nose. it was bought as a juvinile about 2months ago and its only the tail that effected. thanks for your imput so far may be stressed by tiger barb  you guys are awesome
Caryl
Being hassled by the tiger barb is a possibility. Tiger barbs are nippy fish and better off in shoals of 6 or more so they can spread their aggression between themselves and tend to leave other fish alone. One or two in a tank usually get bossy and aggressive.
