Gannet
i got asked buy a customer the other day and all i could come up wif was red shoulder peacocks, and kangaroo males
ryanjury
You can get red zebras that are actually red not orange but I haven't seen any around nz have heard people say they have them but haven't seen them.. Apart from that there are red kadango's and the rubins red maleri red and i guess the new dragons blood peacocks that are around I haven't seen yet but have some on order Also other options if you wanted red in a malawi tank would be some red rainbow's (cant remember the actual type of rainbow im no expert on them) or I was thinking of using odessa barbs because they're pretty cool and red and also relatively big and fast enough to avoid the other fish.. ryanjury
You can get yellow electric yellows, red either of the 2 red peacocks on the list.. You could chuck some orange red zebs in for some orange and blue I guess some sort of zebra lithobates or even demasoni..

Afrikan
With size tank, it would all depend on filtration and and size of fish he is wanting in the long run etc And Rogan, this is a an African thread.. so pipe down small change haha
Gannet
ita a aqua one, R2-180 just the hood filter, sticking with just malawis for now, as far as i no
Afrikan
That's the 6ft model.. reasonable size but I would also run externals underneath.. IMO. The hood filters are a good fall back, but definately recommend some sort of external underneath, more filtration the better

Afrikan
Oh what a bugger... :-? I have a big Aqua One also and I wouldn't consider having it as an African tank without extra filtration... The hood filters are ok, but I don't think they are adequate enough.. JMO
