andrem
I have had an entire colony of yellow polyps disapear overnight. In the tank I currently have 2 clowns, 2 chromis, 1 Goby and cleaner shrimp. 6 - 8 Turbo snails and 1 Tiger Courie snail. I assume fish and etc not the problem and they disapeared a few days after I added the tiger courie and a couple of etxra turbo snails. I thought possibly the courie snail was the culpert, any one have similar experience with them?. The only thing the confuses me is that I did find one of the turbos particularly interested in the piece of rock which the polyps were on. Have removed both the courie snail and the turbo to another tank incase they decide they want to eat anymore of my inverts.
tel
will be the Cowrie. they are not usually reef safe especially as they get larger. i have kept small ones without issue and there may well be differences between types (as to whether they are safe or not)
andrem
I thought as much, is not a very big one, and infact came out of a tank with inverts....(same tank as the polyps) and didnt eat them in there. Guess there was not so much to eat in my tank and he got hungry. Assume all turbo snails are reef safe?
