alextret
One of my guppies developed some kind of a white spot on its head. So I promptly proceeded to isolate it. This proved however not so easy. When I put the net into the tank, it puts all 20 or so female guppies in a frenzy, they move around very fast, so I can not track the one I want to catch (the abnormality can only be seen from a certain angle). The only sure way appears to be to remove floating plants and equipment, to catch all the guppies, place them in a narrow water, and then to pick the one I want to get rid of. Is there a better way? sharn
at nightime turn off the tank and room lights so the room they are in is completly dark. after an hour or so go back in, turn the room lights on and everyone should be fast asleep and easy to catch
Whiskas
Yeah I have this problem too! Its so annoying and they are sooo quik! I have found that using 2 nets works well. Also if you feed then try catching when they are eating can sometimes help. Sometimes if i hold the net in the water for awhile they seem to get used to it and calm down (a little bit). Best of luck on catching her WITHOUT having to empty out your tank and I hope she recovers from her .. well wateva it is quikly
