ludimac
hi all, to make a long story short, my angels have some eggs hatching(first batch to reach hatching stage) and one angel is taking them off filter pipe into her mouth and moving them to sword plant. is this normal please? all i have read on web is that wigglers stay attached to thing they were laid on, so should i seperate parents from eggs? she doesn't seem to be eating them(yet). Alan
Very normal, sit down and watch and enjoy nature at it's best. Well, in our tanks anyway. Where is Balfour?? Alan
ludimac
excellent. thanks so much. now i can relax a bit...lol. it is very cool, it is amazing to watch. what are the chances of the parents eating them as free swimming fry do you think? balfour is a teeny tiny town all the way down south between gore and queenstown. i am on a dairy farm and had a super surprise coming in from milking cows to see wee wigglers. so excited. :bounce:
alanmin4304
The chances of the parents eating them are transversley proportional to you winning lotto. They can be removed and reared if you want them or you can watch the parents raise/eat them.
