tee-em
Just received my Oceans Motion 4 way.. :bounce: Now for the spiderweb of piping. I have 32mm PVC piping to and from the tank. With the current placement of piping and return pump I will end up with two 90 degree bends really close to the pump. Would it be better to have a loop of flexible hose or stick with the solid PVC and elbows? :-? If flexible better then any brands/type that is recommended. chrs
Krama
hi there, nearly ready for some fish? I wouldnt worry, myself. as you probably know, it all has to do with friction etc. So if you have a good pump, I would go with what ever is easier. Coffee is always on... hhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm
JoeBlog
I used flexible pipe with mine and will do it that way again when I shift the 4-way over to the bigger tank. For me, it was just easier to work with.
tee-em
Thanks Krama, going to aim to run water test this evening, all going well plan to run the tank without the closed loop. Can finish that off later. Still waiting for my RO/DI unit so may have to hit up others in the area for top up water .. nudge nudge JoeBlog what sort of flexible pipe did you use, any pics anywhere?
