Kriber
Hi all I bought an eel yesterday. Apparently its a Ladderback spiny eel from Africa. Can't seem to find any info or pics on the net. http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/PicturesSummary.cfm?ID=10071&what=species; this seems to be the only pic of anything that resmbles it. I'd be interested to hear if anyones' seen any for sale or has any experience keeping them. Its ~12cm long and 'should' grow no longer than ~20cm, is peaceful (won't attack neons at night) and isn't shy at all, rarely hiding in caves. Oh and its one awesome fish!! Cheers, Kriber
Chris.L
It looks like the one I had ages ago. I found that it ate my neons and used to hide underneath the gravel (it was like you say at first, but after a month or so it started doing this). Kriber
$13 Bother! It was marked as $34.90!! Not to worried about my 5 remaining neons, someone else seems to find them quite delicous probably one of my kribs or the Marliers julie that I traded in (swapped one killer for another eh?). Did the store that you saw them at have quite a few or just a couple? Kriber
