quack Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 hey im looking for foreground plant for my new tank project. i like the look of Glossostigma elantes, which they are using here: http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/foru ... ounds.html i was wondering if this is available in nz? or is there something else similer to this which i could use?? if anyone has any i would be interseted in buying some from them. thanks for any help!! antwan Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 Why do you say it's not easy? I have put it in my tank straight away from getting it from the river and it's done fantastically. Also gave Luke* some, that he put in his tank which is also doing really well. I hadn't had any problems with it, and I'm pretty sure Luke's didn't either. quack Posted November 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 ok so what are other commonly used plants for foregrounds? i would like something that is easy to maintain? the tank is going to have a MH and maybe some flruos, co2 and good substrate (250l). im still keen on trying glosso but might experiment in another tank with different plants.
