Afrikan
Hi All Has anyone got these little guys at all? Just wondering if there are people out there that have these little fellows as we have 9 of them. And if so, how have you found them for breeding etc? Thanks Mekhaela

Afrikan
Hey There We have only recently got 9, we actually ordered 10 and 9 arrived and a 10th one was meant to arrive but they blimmin well sent a lemon tetra (one would hope by accident!) So we have the 9 and they have settled in well.. We also keep the Marlieri. Certainly when we have some fry, they will be offered to fellow African people Will keep you all posted when the time comes. Tropheus
Good to hear guys and gals. I dont have the Julidochromis transcriptus but i do have the Juli.Maleri and these guys are awesome. Very similar to the Transcriptus. Once they breed they just dont STOP. Front food Afrikan, you got your camera yet? wouldnt mind some photos of your Aul yellows and the rest mike
Afrikan
Hi Tropheus I do have a camera but it's not overly the best for pics... :-? I am going to have to invest in another one, thats decent enough for good pics.. or maybe is it me on the end of it? The J. Marleri are gorgeous to I have some Rubins and I managed to get an OK pic of him earlier, so I will post it to you to see if he matches up to your boys.. he also came in recently from the same lot you possibly have? Would be interested to see what you think of the Yellows I have... they are turning into handsome boys.. will have to try to get the best pics out of a whole bunch I think.. rcon021
i finally got my hands on some J. Marleri aswell. they are in with my tropheous. I know its not the correct diet but i am sure they will be fine. From the research i did everyone thought that it would be okay.
Afrikan
Oh awesome, I have both also, but I find that the Maleri are much more laid back than the Transcriptus.. one tank is alot quieter than the other that is for sure
