Agree with you completely. Information on reefing is not in short supply and some is undoubtedly better than others. It is up to the individual to make up their own mind and it may well be that they make some mistakes. When this happens perhaps they will ask advice from others that seem to have it right or have been through the same problem and found a solution that works. Layton also wrote: Sometimes it takes someone who has some idea what to look for to spot it. Yeah perhaps you are right, however I think that you have identified your own problem. You refer to "it" not "them". There is almost always more than one solution to a problem, except perhaps in maths tests! From reading your responses to many threads it would appear that you believe you may have identified a solution to a problem and take the approach that it is the only solution. Others obviously beg to differ! Doesn't necessarily mean that you or they are more correct than each other. And even if one is more correct than the other, is it really so important if both solutions work?

Pies
Is it OK to say ********? If so I am going to go ******* (I assume ******* is OK too?) and say ******** a lot. Infact I am going to say it **** loads. Mod = Warren: Sorry, BS is not ok - I wish it was in this case but rules are rules. Have modified the offending words. wasp
What I would be interested in is a fair test - say 100 tests at increasing phosphate levels ten at each 0.00 0.01 0.02 etc. I would be really interested in the results, but so far as I'm aware noone has tried this? I imagine that there would be outliers, but I'd also be interested to see if they could be removed using conventional stastical techniques. Actually I'd be happy to perform such a test, don't know about 100 times though might have to farm some of them out! It will certainly be better than a hobby kit ( Oops, ducks for cover, runs, and hides!! ) However as far as I can tell the whole thing would be for Laytons benefit alone, as it seems nobody else really cares, the last bunch of posts has shown there are still people who can relax, have a laugh, and actually enjoy their tank! There is one big drawback also, which is, whatever the result of the tests, I personally garuantee it will not change the mind of some people over the critical importance of the Wikepedia definition of certain words   And of course, anybody who disagrees, just doesn't understand and is ignorant, right?
