Alan
In the killie fraternity one of the egg receptors is boiled willow root so I'd say go for it. Another added benifit of willow is that your fish should never suffer headaches again, as asprin is a derivative of willow. Why don't you go to the welcome thread and introduce yourself to the gang shellbell. By the way, let me be the first to say welcome aboard. I was hoping you cousd use the willow as i have some really nice stuff here that i thought in water would look really good in the back of the tank along with all the other plants and i have some plasctic ones too. Alan
Goldfish don't need heating at all, they can over winter under ice if the needs be, but I don't think it would get that cold inside your house in the winter. Even in Timaru. Alan
