candy
i realy like the right hand side (when looking at tank).. i think your fish would stand out more if the gravel was darker.... its a healthy good looking tank i like it
evilknieval69
They look wicked tammy Just one thing though, IMO, the white gravel washes the colours out.(says he with white gravel in one of his tanks ) Dark/Black gravel shows the colours up much better. Just something to think about, not saying yours looks dumb or anything, keep up the good effort. A few more plants would look wicked aswell Rogan EDIT: RE the gravel, candy and i posted at the same time, great minds think alike aye
springer
i would add more plants, but looks good.
jude
Its looking very attractive, I like it a lot. I think I'd put some sort of plain backing on it to avoid the distraction of the curtains and any algae problems you might get from the light from the window. Cheers Jude
TimTam22
Yea I have been thinking about backing but the plant I have going along the back (I forget the name) seems to be doing really well with the sunlight so I had left it, plus I was hoping to get it to go across the whole back. The tank has only been set up for approx. 6weeks so its a work in progress. I know what you mean with the black gravel as I have it in a cichlid tank and my electric yellows look amasing since changing from white to black in there. The other reason for the white is I was on a budget and white is what was going cheap  One day I will have no buget  Well maybe in a dream And definately always looking for new plants, everytime I go to the LFS I come home with the buy 5 get one free deal  I also have some dwarf sag grass in there that I am hoping will take off :-? Anyone with any plants forsale that they think would look nice in my tanks let me know Anyone think I should change any fish around? If so what types? TimTam22
Yea that would be nice I have 5 baby GBA's growing up which will end up in the big tank in a month or two and I will put the BN's in one of the other tanks. Nah I have only been to animates and hutt pets when I am in auckland in a weeks time I have planned to go to jansens and hollywoods though :bounce: and maybe the goldfish bowl in hams... We are also moving at the end of the year so I might change the gravel then???? Will be a bit of a HUGE job doing the move in the first place so will decide when the time comes
