newbiechris
I have my first cleaner shrimp in my tank, I don't get to see it much and it dosen't come out at 'feeding time' so I thought before I starve it I'd find a better way to feed him. So I am interested in ways people have found to be the most effective to feed their shrimp? Cheers
Smallreefer
Hi, i have a cleaner shrimp as well, he is generally always in view. I believe that your one may still be getting used to the new enviroment, how long have you had him for? As for feeding my shrimp tends to stand high up in the aquarium to get food at feeding time but will also scavenge around. I sometimes feed him frozen mysis shrimp with a pipette but i beleive he could be hand fed. hope this helps. Dan
suphew
No need to feed it, they are scavengers will eat left over food, they are also nocturnal (actaully will tend to hang round under over hangs waiting for fish to clean during the day) but after a while you will start to it come racing out during feeding time. newbiechris
Thanks He has only been in the tank since saturday so that part is understandable. I thought that he might have to have some mussel left on the bottom to feed on.
