I went out for a couple of hours today and came home

to carnage, :( my ice blue red top had been battered

by another fish , who is now undisputed king of the tank.

The poor old ice blue is now in a hospital tank but i don't

think he's gonna make it.

Here's the ice blue before the assualt

A very handsome fish..

Here he is after the fight, just hanging out at the top of the tank

and not looking so good. :(

And here's the fish that caused the carnage, (the git)

new king of the tank.

I rekin he'll be fine. I ended up discovering I had 3 blue zebra males instead of 2 (w/my 3 females) and they were beating up the smallest of the females. So while we were away for a week I put the bad boys in the 2 footer so the electric yellows and the blue zebra fem's could have some peace. Well I came home to one male almost without a tale fins shreaded and some scales missing. With the exception of the lip he looked much very similar to the state of you'rs, but with far less tail. He's happily recovering, by himself, in the 2 footer. He'll be up for sale/swap once in a couple of weeks.

Conaquavict...how is the fishy doing???? Any updates???

I removed the Beast , the fish that caused the damage as he

became even more aggressive and started attacking my other fish,

he is now awaiting a new home at the lfs.

The injured fish.. old blue, is doing great in his hospital tank

and i'm hoping for a speedy recovery, he even ate a little

this evening so things are looking good. :)
