  1. that doesn't sound good. This is a video of it https://youtu.be/viBohAxz6ME
  2. Hi I'm quite new to the wonderful world of fish. We have 5 small fantails in a 65 litre tank. 4 appear healthy and happy but the fifth spends a lot of time at the bottom of the tank. When s/he does swim the tail appears quite rigidly splayed in a 's' like shape. He'll swim to the top for food, only to be thrown around by the current (which the others cope well with since we changed the filter), then nosedive back to the bottom. He doesn't swim for more than half a minute to a minute at a time. I have been doing 10% changes and testing weekly. The levels were good until I missed changing the water over the long weekend so I changed 20% but ph and ammonia are still a little high. However the fish has been like this since we moved from the 15 litre tank into this one. Any suggestions please?! Thanks
  3. Hi We're fairly new to this. We have a 65 litre tank with a Tank Maid Filter Pro 700. It's been cycled and we've just moved the fish (red comets) from the 15 litre tank tonight. The filter is at one end (where the glass lid has a space for the cord), but there's quite a strong current and the fish seem to be being pulled to that end. My question is, does the position of the pump matter? Would it be better on the back wall instead of the side? Does it need to be more centred?
