  1. I too got my australes off Rodney. I have collected many eggs, but all end up fungus. Tried the wet peat method and also eggs in water treated with meth. blue. No success with the eggs atm, it seems the eggs are unfertilised and no signs with eyeing on the eggs. Keep me updated with your progress.

  2. hmm stuck again. Did a big brine shrimp feed last night, 40% cold water change this morning, and no glass dancing going on.... Am i being too impatient?

Patient is the key when it comes to breeding.

Make your corys are mature enough to breed. In my expenrience they are breed well in a group rather than 1 male 1 female.

Separate the males and females for conditioning.

feed them with lots of frozen blood worms. you can tell if the female is full of eggs with its big tummy.

when they are ready, put them together.

you can try rainwater or just normal water change everyday to keep them happy.

hopefully you will find some eggs attached on the glass.

  3. hi candy, i am using the same system as yours, mine took a while to start bubbling like 2-3days. after that its a constant rate until it ran out. works out pretty good for a 100L tank. its been more than 1 month now.. and going well. plants growing like crazy and i am looking somewhere to dispose my plants or a bigger tank..lol...

  4. This is not double post Bill. Warren has checked this thread and the FW tanks before and it is fine.

This is the aquatic plants thread where members can discuss issues. whilst the freshwater members tanks section is solely for members to view. i have joined the forum long enough to know the rules.

The post before here actually shows the progression of the plants grow from Jan to until now. i am sure belated aquatic plant members would like to see this and give certain comments.

thanks for removing my post :-?
