Hi Guys, I'm in the process of slowly buying bits and pieces for my new 230L tank. I was wondering what size air pump to use ? and an idea of cost ? I am planning on only using it to run 2 Large airstones running the length of my tank ( 1140mm ), an ornamental waterwheel, and a submarine that floats to the top and sinks again. I am running an external cannister filter so don't need the pump for Under gravel filtration. Thanks Glen

Thanks Guys, I will have to write all this down somewhere so I don't forget. As I am presently building a cabinet for my new tank and buying filters , heaters etc as I can afford them.

Hi I have just purchased a new 350 L tank and was wondering what size external cannister filter to go for ? I was looking at either a Jebo 810 - 900L/h for $ 89.95 or a Jebo 815 1000L/h for $99.95 Also I will be converting my tank to tropical fish in the near future what wattage heater should I be running ?

Hi, I've just bought a tank 450x450x1140 approx. 230L and am a newbie with Tropical fish ( had cold water tanks before ) I'm wanting to set it up for tropical fish, and was wondering should I go with Under gravel and a Power head, or do I need to go to a cannister filter, I am on a budget so I need the cheapest most efficient method. Also Do I need to run 2 heaters or can I use 1, and what wattage heaters should I get ? Thanks, Glen
