I bought a light from them seems pretty good, very bright. The light unit is pretty rough to look at (typical chinese) and the dimmer unit failed so the sent me a new one. All in all pretty good for the price

Fixed it! just put the airline tube that you use too start the syphon into the intake of the return pump now it just sucks any air out that happens to get in there.

Thanks guys its definatly the skimmer making the bubbles you can see them pouring out of the outlets. I've turned the air intake right down for now and i'll let it run for a few days like that, it could be that it just hasnt run in yet.

It possibly could, would it be better in there? Just seen a few pics where people have had sand and live rock in there just dont have the rock yet. Guess it could help with filtering.

What do you guys do to keep the syphon on overflow boxes? Mine keeps losing the syphon and nearly floods the house!

Thanks. At the moment some sand and a bag of carbon i'll put some live rock in there and in the tank when i find some. Oh and a UV filter dont know if it will actually do anything, it was just one i had lying around.

Setup my first marine tank this week, pretty happy considering i did it all myself even made the sump from an old tank i had lying around. Need to get rid of the micro bubbles somehow. Any ideas?
