  1. interesting, just found out that the Jewel anemones are closer related to corals than anemones

also does anyone know if Tomato anemones are similar to keep to jewels or different again.

btw they are currently happily devouring the left over Tuatua mince that was too small for the gobies

i would call jewels zoas :D

i fed my jewels some mysis food pellets yesterday and brine :D

  2. not bridled gobies, Favonigobius sp. most literature states that it should be exquisitus, but tbh im not too sure on that ID as of yet.

if you look at the back left there is a sand anemone as well

everything except the Jewel anemone was collected from the waterfront in buretta (straight off Kulim park) at low tide in the eel grass flats.

The jewels were collected from the marina by the harbour bridge (seriously go for a look, that place has as much if not more life than around the mount, and probably a few "unwanteds" as well due to the boaT traffic. just stick your head over the side.)

might sneak in for a snorkel once the water gets a bit warmer.

ohk , rexii66 has some bridled gobys i was looking at today :D

i was at the other marina today looking for jewels but might look at the mount marina, i got some blue fan worms at the marina near the bmx track today

  3. good way to relax after your first exam day.

always fun. spent my first day celebrating, had 3 shots of JD before second day, got 89% in biology and 79% in physics (anyone else find Physics is easier to understand while drunk)

not that I condone that sort of thing...

its just a junior exam :slfg:

    i am 14....

  4. dont be so mean, that might of been some 12 year olds first attempt at it! Maybe it was a intellectualy handicapable persons first ever fish tank, maybe they tryed to look outside the box a little insteed of some fancy pants tank on crack look

    i agree

  5. Tanked is a shocker - how not to treat your marine fish and inverts.

Refuse to watch it now, annoys me.
