its only a little nano planted tank - so doesn't really need to be fancy or pressurised. Id only considered the fluvial because i found it for $20USD.
I really don't have any room in my budget for canisters looking at it long term really. I use a lot of yeast and sugar in bread making anyway - so its not like those are an extra cost for me, where as canisters are - so really DIY or the Nurtafin are better options. the Nutrafin system was going to be 40 something NZ including postage, which is only a little more than id spend buying stuff for diy anyway, and its a whole lot more preschooler investigation and accident proof.

hmm thats what made me wonder.
the other thing i was wondering - if i buy the Hagen Nutrafin CO2 Natural Plant System from there (cheap as) can i just use my own mix of yeast sugar and water in it? I would DIY a co2 but i have a feeling a certain 3 year old of mine may make that plan fail epically -and prefer the look of it over diy too.

If i buy some fluvial mini co2 canisters form the states, are they allowed to be shipped here?

what i want to know is can you have a brine shrimp tank, and just feed a scoop to fishies every few days? like a sea monkey set up or something, and have the brine shrimp breed?
Some help, I'm pulling my hair out
