Im currently living in a mining town in the outback of Australia and the temp in my tank sits on about 26 - 27 (no heater) with the air con on and at night but during the day it gets up to around 36 so i started leaving the air con on but after a really expensive power bill i cant leave it on so just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep it cool?

So along with the city falling apart im sure alot of fish keepers had afew tragedies. I woke up to a couple of fish flaping around on the ground from my tank in the livingroom and managed to get them to safty then rushed out to my fish room to check on my fishy friends out there and they were all ok but then had the problem of having 6 tanks to heat with no power so had to set up the gas heater and hoped the power came back soon. all my tanks got down to about 19deg but after a few hours the power came back on and all temps are up and havnt had any die so im happy after a stressfull day
I hope nobody had any losses

Im sure they are pink convicts now, they just look very similar and there seems to be bugger all on white dwarf parrots. I went back to the shop where i got them from and they told me they were going to check so i dont think they 100% knew themselfs. Thanks for all your help
