HI all Have just changed my goldfish to another tank over the weekend & today noticed around the edge of a leaf of a floating plant I honestly dont know whether actual eggs or bubbles...I scared to disturb them in case they are eggs. yes...the aquaone tanks...my wife got me the large aquaone splish & Splash set up "kit" with the stones, HOB filter etc as my third tank.

What about these plastic tanks on the market..still unsafe without poly'?

Ok as egg scatters once she lays / scatters the eggs...does not having a male danio in the tank a problem - sorry danio biology is a mystery to me as a new comer to this hobby. I have an Angel fish in the same tank, r other fish prone to eating the eggs?

Hi everyone We Have decided to put my wifes goldfish in another tank ( she came up with this 8) ) Apart from using the tank vaccum do I do a complete water change Any other hints Using as suggested in another posting taht I can use a 50w heater for this tank size {60x30x30} As getting a BN do I need to bother cleaning the algae off the tank to get it ready for transferring the tropicals? 1 Angel Fish 1 Platy 20 approx guppies ( 8 females heavily pregant ) 4 neons 3 Danios Thanks

Today I bought a aquaone mini floating tank I know that it can just float around in the tank, but it comes with the two suction cups so that this trap is secured to the aquarium - lol yeah right - not "sticking" so had to use a small stationary bull dog clip to clip it to the glass side. I know that I could have bought the breeding trap with the lip that hooks over the edge of the tank but not paying $26.00 for it so this alternative securing system will have to do. As a beginner to this hobby & I love guppies, I scored heaps of guppies in exchange of a chocolate cake I have around 8 that have the dark black mark underneath, can I put all 8 in the breeding trap ( Aqua One Mini Float - Capacity 0.75L )as I dont want to lose any babies. Bartering Rocks my world

Currently feeding the above (first posting) fish combination of Home Brand Fish Food Granules ( suitable for all fish types ) JBL Novo Red flakes ( I know that these are for Goldfish ) but these fish seem to love it. Is Goldfish fish food a definite no - no for tropical fish? Looking through Livebearers forum about what to feed them and found recipe for ox heart with the veges & hard boiled egg yoke and the link for the obtaining a meal worm culture. R these two just treats oor can feed once - twice a week? Gave a small piece of zuccinni and the guppys loved it The ox heart & meal worms...can I feed to the angel fish & Platy as sharing the same tank? Im not over feeding them but would it be advisable to get a cat fish to tidy up the left overs ? Thanks for all the help and suggestions Bartering Rocks My World
