  1. does anyone have the addictive game fish ville on face book,need more friend so i can get more tanks,if you dont have it would recomend getting it,
  2. i have no slime tho,i had small patches of just algae but brown and came of easy as,i did a water change last might and scrubbed all glass,reduced amount of rocks in tank to help water flow and smell has gone,i run t5 lights aswell,
  3. did a partial water change and vaccumed argonite,have limited amount of rocks in the tank for now to increase the water flow,will open and clean cannister filters one at a time,
  4. what should i do to stop the smell,or to get rid of it
  5. i have just walked past my cichlid tank and noticed a weird smell,smells dirty,i do 2 water changes a week,feed twice a day have 2000lph of filtration on my tank,its not over stocked,i noticed brown algae patches on the back wall of the glass so am scrubbing them off now,and going to do another water change see if that helps

  7. retested water after and it took 5 drops to turn from blue to yellow,so that seems pretty good to me between 3 and 6 is what cichlids are rated for,rift lake cichlids are between 11 and 22

  12. just tested my kh, it took 16 drops to get the water to turn from blue to yellow is this good for african cichlids,im getting gh text tomorrow
  13. rolleston water is pretty soft it comes from a underground spring,we got good water quality but its real soft,i read bout putting coral sand in the filter
  14. altho its been raining today lots,so have collected 6 buckets of rain water that im going to use in my tank today
  15. the fish seem healthy as,my powder blues wont stop breeding,just thought it might be why my electric yellows are now breeding
  16. checked my water today and its very soft.i have african cichlids with lots of rocks.argonite for the grave the ph is 7.8.how can i get the water hardness to the appropriate hardness 4 them.

  25. i can see you reasoning for that,why have some person have a rare breed when you seem to be the man when it comes to killis when you can have them breed them and then pass them on the people you know are good with them,cant wait to get my first set ae,really looking forward to it,iv had great luck with dwarf cichlids and now africas so heres hoping i got good luck with killis,anything in particular you recomend putting in a killi tank
