Yes I have said that to her too but she is passionate about them and they will be well looked after even if they don't breed. She's not getting them till August still saving etc. -
My daughter wants to get into breeding these and is wondering if anyone has been successful in this.

Excuse my ignorance but what are diatoms and ottos? Still not up with all this fish lingo yet.

Ok now another question.....The stones in my tank have turned yellow on top. I am thinking this is because of the colour of the double bulb light I have on it. Any ideas on how to fix it or stop it happening. Also I seem to have to turn both bulbs on at once otherwise the single one just flickers. Is this normal? TIA

How long do I keep feeding them brine shrimp? They are 3 weeks old.

Ok have done that. How long till I see results? Also when do I switch the baby angels over to real food etc?

The funny thing is I have also got my next door neighbour into fish and also one of her friends. She was stoked when her guppy had babies a few weeks back. There is also a friend at Uni that is into fish too. I just can't help but pass the addiction on. I also have 4 rabbits, 1 cat, and a budgie and also a 13 year old daughter. There are never enough hours in the day.

I have been keeping tropicals for about 4years now but have recently decided to get into breeding angels, preferably black angels but at the moment have 30 new baby marble anget 3 weeks old. It is so coll watching them grow and I am now an expert on baby brine shrimp breeding too. I only had 1 200l tank but my partner bought me another one for my birthday. I would like heaps more but space is starting to become a problem....There is always the garage though........???LOL.

ok thanks for that. How often should I be feeding them then. I have one with angels only and the other a mixed community tank. I am also very please to say I have about 30 angel babies in a seperate tank. It's so cool to watch them growing.

HI all I hope someone can help me. I have 2 200 litre tanks set up and both tanks have a cloudy film on the top of them. It doesn't seem to be upsetting my fish but I'd like to get rid of it. Both tanks have been set up for over 2 months and I have put cycle through them too. Thanks people.
