  1. Cheers for the ideas. Yeah he usually gets a mix inscects, not to mention the moth which flew into his cage the other day, needless to say i shut the glass pretty quickly! To the moths credit it only made one mistake My brother said he'd have a go at building me one out of a ps2 vibrator in the controller, so hoping that turns out well.
  2. I just checked Animates and they have no idea what im talking about (vibrating feed dish), Do you chaps know somewhere in auckland which does em?
  3. Yeah hes growing so fast, and putting on a lot of weight (bulking up) Just doesn't seem too fond of Dried Crickets, i have however been feeding him some mealworm beetles, just to supplement his crickets, He loves those
  4. Cool, Cheers for the replies! Ill pop into jansens at some time and take a look One more quick question, Should i be worried about him filling up on veggies and not insect? He gets carrot, apple, cucumber, lettuce, all toped of with a little calci powder? He is still eating some insects but not nearly as much as before when they were live.
  5. Hey guys, My beardie is about 5 months old and as cute as a button. He will eat anything that moves, and he will devour vegies, What is his problem you might ask? He will not eat anything which is dead, If i doesn't move its not food, although he still eats vegie, and that doesn't move (to my knowledge .) This all came about when my mealworm breeding stock turned into beatles (which i wanted to happen ) But that means im now wormless. I tried some flukers freeze dried crickets but to no avail... Help Please.
  6. Wellington you say, Im in Auckland but PM me, we can sort something out
  7. Where abouts do you live mate, My parents own a branch or "Mr Rental". They take the glass out of the TV cabinets they rent. Thats where i got the glass for my cage. I could easily get you 3 or 4 pieces. It has beveled edges so thats perfect for fitting into runners. Dimensions are around 600mm by 300mm by 5mm. Just an idea, save you some cash
  8. Thanks for all the 'sumwhat' helpful replies I had a breeder come around and he said he looked fine. I might have got the hight wrong as it was probably only around a meter. Hes doing well and is eating and pooping regularly. Cheers again
  9. Today my 3 month old bearded dragon decided to jump from about 1.5 meters onto wood. He jumped himself and seemed to land quite heavily. Mobility seems fine but im just worried about internals as he is still somewhat delicate. do you think he will be ok?
  10. For all interested here are some pics of calypso. Love the rubber duck
  11. You wanted to see some pictures of Buddy (Was in the same clutch as Calypso). Not the most flattering Pictures, And god the flash makes the cage look dark!, Its not, Its Got a full length UVB right down it . Buddy "Toe curls" as well so i wouldn't worry about that!
  12. Seeing this i couldn't help going "Awwwww". Probably because i know the feeling, You think your stressed mine was a week old when i got him *worry*. hes around 6 weeks now, i should re-upload pics. Hes grown TONES. Anyways good luck and name wise I started calling mine buddy when i got him\her, It stuck. Call it what its being called now
  13. Cheers, What i meant was any ideas on you to keep him content until he is older... Thanks anyway.
