Hey all, my partner and I are going to get a gecko set up and a NZ permit so we can have the cool ones :-) Any one have any ideas about doing this?? The easiest way to get permit etc? Any ideas will be great. Cheers.

Hey all, I'm really keen about a beardy set up, been asking a few questions. My flatmate has completely shattered my dreams, saying we can't get a dragon as they power bill will go nuts (we already have 8 fish tanks) - so in order for me to prove him wrong I need to know roughly how much it sucks the power, anyone have an estimate please? Well I'm not too sure really, I know for a beardy I'm looking at approx $600.00 so for the set up, I actually don't know. I have no idea where to start. Maybe about $600 - $1000, I don't know, is that reasonable, or more?

Hey all, I am looking at getting me a dragon to add to my list of animals at home. I am needing a semi-cheap way of housing my pet. What do you all think the best way to set up a home is? A tank? How big? I wish NZ had snakes... if only ay!

Hey, does anyone know where to get any sunshine peacocks from? I live in Chch, I have 3 tropical tanks, one discus, one oscar and one malawi tank. I want some sunshine peacocks for my malawi tank and I can't seem to find them anywhere. If anyone could help that would be awesome. Cheers :-)

Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of lizards we can get in New Zealand for pets. I love the bearded dragons but want a colourful one, I love the Sunshine Dragon, very orange. Does anyone know what kind of lizards we can have as pets and where to get them from? Thanks guys, hope you had a good xmas and new year :-)
