The Waikato aquarium soc have our monthly meetings the first thrusday of every month at 7pm
at Waikato commerce Club.

Will always have treasured memories of Eddie and John yes Eddie certianly loved his Ice cream and john always made sure no matter what he got atleast one at every confence. RIP my old friend untill we meet agian

Club had a real awsum response from pet expo we achiceve our goal of 20 new memberships plus some and sure that there are a couple more to join this week. Sorry Caryl got a few more capations coming your way
Our club is also going to be focusing on breeding over the next couple of meetings so hopefully the ethnusium of this aspect of the hobby will continue to grow.
Really looking forward to this wednesdays meeting and agian well done team

Shane helen and myself spend today setting up the first stages of our site at the pet expo . So the walls are done, Roof is on raffle tank running, breeding tank circulating so tommorrow nemo, turtles, fighter display, furnished aquarium and a unfurnish aquarium coming to site.
Must admit its looking really awsum

Awsum job tasman displays etc are a bit of work but the results rewarding especiallally in raising the profile of clubs etc. The waikato aquarium have set up a site here at this weekends pet expo its really great went everyone works together to achive the same goal

Going to be a great weekend . In 2000 and 2001 the last time pet expo was here our club won best club breeder site am sure that what we have put together is going to be awsum.
This is a great chance to promote our hobby get a few members and promote our club.
So come on guys and girls come and see us at the PET expo

Along with our upcoming meeting and trip dont forget our Particatapation in the Pet Expo at Claudelands showgrounds 30th July till 1st August. Great oppinunity to promote our club and the hobby of fishkeeping

Finding a ideal venue is not a hard thing it doesn't even have to be fish related as you will find that alot places will give you a good price if you become regular users of a meeting place. One of the issues that you will come across is finding a suitable time and day that suits most people as we all have busy lifestyles but also a venue that can accomodate a choosen meeting time.
Some ideas for a club meeting Auctions always fun , Quizs , Guest speakers doesn,t have to be fish related to be interesting you will be surprise what knowledge you have within your own group. At the end of the day your objective is to get a comman group of hobbyist together to share their ideas and happennings with each other . Personally i think that has been something that kept me going for bout 20yrs in the hobby

Confences are a good way to catch up with old friends that have a simalar interest. Unfortanley i have other things happening this year so it will be only the secound confence i have missed but you all will have a great weekend thats a gaurantee especiacallly knowning john as we do.
