  3. yea i think so to (im a student as well) all up i think i spent $ 1000 getting everything i need including my 120 l tank and cabnet but then again i didnt get any co2 stuff....

  6. i would strip the tank and put and good fish in qteen for a month or so and see how they are afterwards
  7. cool picture waterboatmen and backswimmers are good food i put about 20 in my tank about 2 months ago all but 2 got eaten (2 backswimmers) they lived happly in the tank for a week the fish didnt mind them and never went after these 2 then i got my betta and the dissapered after 2 days..... :roll:

  13. they can go down deep when i first got mine they disapered for 3 weeks with out me seeing them

    ive seen them at animates there very nice fish

  19. i agree with alanmin4304 try to keep the conditions (i would even use as much of the old water as i could and give them lots of plants to hide in
  20. i know its not recomended but my male betta and male guppie get on fine
