have you talked to a few shops around town i would say a few would take some

it all depends on how cold the pond gets in winter in chch ponds get a ice cover on cold days where up north it dosnt drop as much it was -4 here a few nights ago....

with most livebearers a 1 male to 2 or 3 females is best to stop the males harasing females

it will be a Plec that has slowly been ajusted to cold water if the tank is in a warm area they would be fine (room temp arround 22 or more)
