Hi. A friend just brought me this fish as a birthday present. can some one give me the name of this fish? thanks NOTE: I dont think it's a clown loach, here are 2 photos of some clown loaches just to compare.dispite the difference in shape/colour/patterns, another difference is its got no WHISKERS

Is it even possible by individuals? If so, what are the procedures and the costs? Wanna get Asian Arowanas(Green, Gold etc), but cant get in NZ so thinking about importing, please offer me some advise/ info. Thanks

i am pretty confident my Angels are very healthy. 8) however i dont have a huge tank. i've never had any discuses before and was thinking just to add one or two for starters, i will upgrade my tank for the arowana anyways, then i will get more discus if everything is okay. is that a good idea to you? :-?

its just me but i would definitely put at least one silver arowana along with discus i think compare to the arowanas the general loaches, barbs etc are just "too boring". they also bring you luck and fortune in terms of "feng shui" you know. but that's just me.

hey every one. i got rid of all my small fishes(tetras etc.) since i brought this Silver Arowana. i have two adult Angels too. i would love to buy Discus. is it Okay put them along with Angel and Arowana? thanks

1. Angel fish not Angle. :oops: 2. So, i can comfortably conclude the behaviour is due to post spawning reactions? 3.however, i did a little search on google, what i heard was either due to 1.PH shock, or 2. somekind of illness? what do you guys think?

spawning? i am just a newbie angle keeper got those 2 for about 2-3 weeks. so are they making babies all these time? n i dont c any eggs.

what is bacteria bloom? is it increase in bacterias or bacterias die off? and if i have cloudy waters due to this "bloom" should i add more bacteria solutions? someone plz explain thx

em...yes. i got a 130litre tank (Aquaone brand-AR620T). heaps of plants. 8lemon + 5 rosy tetras. 6baby angles 2bruslenose,2 pepper cory. some details might be relevant: 1.i've recently introduce a air pump (this air bubble stone thing).which i kinda disturbed the gravels and nearby plant.(1.5weeks ago) 2.i am a bit lazy with water change overall 3.but my water became cloudy actually after i did a 20% water change+small dose of "CYCLE"(bacteria solution).6 days ago. i cant think of anyother small details. So. why is it cloudy?should i change my water immediately? how much?
