What happened to getting rid of all your tropheus johannes?
Managed to get the water quality better and got some meds lost 60 Ikola fry 15 Pemba 15 t Dubs and 8 Audalt Pembas all is well now waiting for the next order to get in :bounce:

Had a breeding colony of Pemba till a month a go and lost all but 4 females and five fry that are now with surveyor

Cobalts (ALL MABUNA) need to be kept in Big groups for breeding We have 22 females in with 4 males and they are happy no problems with aggrestion !

Its a great design and I have credited you for the idea in the post above . As well as keeping healthy and happy fish, I think this hobby and this forum is also about the exchange of ideas and this forum provides a great place for this to take place.

We have just moved over December thanks to all who helped the buckets, drop sheets and extra cars helped a lot.

LOl No need to apologize we had a few South African, Boa ties and Kiwi friends or two helping out ! The move went well...... We were rushed as we had borrowed a few work vehicles but all worked out well in the end and there were Drinks and BBQ
Now its time to set up the tanks to the required specifications for the fish :roll: have a few spawns over night so it must be good :bounce: We will keep all updated with the progress and pictures later

All those who are helping are welcome to say for a BBQ and drink ! our shout Will need to know how many in number's

Yeah there are a few good tank builders up there that will build for a reasonable price.. Also watch out on trademe as bargains go on there all the time..
You were very lucky where you came from.. Seems NZ gets sent a poor selection of africans, however there are a few breeders who have managed to breed descent fish and also make the right decisions regarding breeding and keeping things pure etc..

Was heart broken But we still going did not want to at the time got good advise and assistance ! no one will paid what we did for these fish so at the end of the day We will keep them. If any one is intersted in fry they can place a order and pay for them
