Hi I was told by Jansens Glenfield that they can no longer get the lead ties for weighing down plants. Are these no longer available in NZ? If so, why? What alternatives are there? I have a plecostomous that is always disrupting the plants so I can't not use a weight of some sort. Cheers

Hi. I just bought a brand new Aqua One CF1000 canister filter off TradeMe for our 200l fishtank. It came with media including little, plastic black balls which I have in the bottom area of the filter. These bounce around in the bottom as the water is filtered through which I assume is what they're supposed to do. The thing is that the noise they create bouncing around is becoming irritating. Do I need to add more of these balls? Or do I have them in the wrong compartment? I have ceramic noodles in the middle compartment and coarse sponge and wool in the top. Cheers John

Hi A lot of my tropical fish are gasping. I recently moved them to a larger tank (190l) and I suspect that the filter isn't strong enough. I was thinking of buying a Cosmo 3500F which has a max flow 2300 L/H, but I can't find anything on the Internet about it. Is this a reliable brand? Cheers
