At the moment I have a 1200x450x600 coldwater with goldfish and a 1650x450x450 with a mixed tropical, nothing flash - couple of big plecos off TM (250mm longish) and a black shark (200mmish) and about 6 neons left as well as a handfull of bristlnoses (about 60-70mm)
Looking at building a stand for a larger tank to relocate the tropicals into since I will be doing some building in the room they are in and am quite keen on the idea of a sump on both the tanks to ease water changes.
Got a few ideas on how im going to do it but still looking at what others are doing. Sump will be purely for waterchanges, not for filtration etc initially. I want to be able to totally automate the waterchange eventually so I can have it done more frequently but for now just want to have somewhere to allow the water to pre-heat and settle before going into the main tank.
