  1. A tang should not go into anything less than a 300L tank, even then it depends on the type of tang and the size.
  2. try the prawn in the coke bottle trick! Cut the neck off an empty coke bottle & then turn the neck around and insert it into the body of the bottle so that it is a funnel shape. Then place a small piece of prawn in the bottle & place it on the bottom of the tank at night... Then wait.. And wait... And wait... I have managed to catch a few mantis shrimps & a pistol shrimp (plus a few crabs) this way, but it takes patience... the shrimp will hapiily go in, but can't get out... If you can't catch it first time, through the prawn away and replace it with new meat, otherwise you may have a small spike in the tank. Regards, Blennie...
  3. I have a leopard blennie in my tank (550 litre). Certainly a colourful addition to the tank and heaps of personality... It is not your typical blennie as it is shaped like a rock skipper & has slightly different feeding habits. They are difficult to maintain and require a very mature tank - mine eats a mixture of brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and nips at the odd brain coral. Take a look at the book "Marine Fishes" by Scott Michael. This book is great as it identifies over 500 marine species (and details feeding habits & dificulty rating in captivity) & is very up to date. Regards, Blennie.
