Can you keep only one Discus in a community tank?With other fish like tetras, BN cory whiptail and BGK? I know most people usually have them in groups but i have seen some nice pics of tanks with one discus in planted communities as a Main attraction type fish.

    You can, but it wont be a happy discus... and probably wont show much coloration and will hide most of the time which kind of defeats the purpose if he's going to be the main attraction. Not to say it can't be done, but he'd be better off if he/she was in a breeding pair or with some friends.

    Afraid not. Discus are happiest in groups of five or more and either by themselves or with other slow moving fish, e.g cardinal tetras.
