puttputt
not alot in the way of conclusions in those articles, other than not to add Strtium unless it is low (measured). Do you test for it Chimera.

raeh1
I cannot believe the difference in the last three-four days... I don't know exactly what is is. SCWD wave thingee, strotium, magensium, KH high, ph on the increase to 8.1, soft trace, hard trace, a reef booster, and reef roids...... Hmmmm I have been dosing like a crazy man :bounce: :bounce: , but WOOWWW My bubble tip anemone has been growing, but yesterday I noticed some changes.... For the first time its tips are swelling up and looing like real "bubble" tips, also all corals are going crazy, three mushroom splits, and a dieing coral I though I couldn't seem to help is opening up.. Not to mention if my clam could smile he would be...

puttputt
Yep, good to hear. The biggest difference in my tank was getting the Ca/Mg/Alk levels right and stable. I think thats what your've done.
rossco
Yeah, thats the 'trouble' when we try to cover a lot of the bases at the same time to get our tanks where we want them - we don't know what it was that did it! The reality probably is that it takes ALL the bases to be covered to a reasonable level - there is no one miracle cure for across the board results. I have noticed a BIG difference in my Kh and Ca uptake (way up) since I got my Mg and Str levels close to where they should be. You can just about see the corals growing every day...well not quite, but they are looking a lot better!
