Pawz
HI My first two blue rams i got have turned out to be boys. Today I went out and got them a girl and decided to let them pick who wanted her. Now thats fine the boys are being good to each other. But they dont like the girl and chase her round the tank. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do or just let them sort it out? Thanks Pawz
SAFFABOY
Let them sort it out mate.Unless you actually see some physical harm done to her, leave her in. I had one male and 3 females in a tank.He would chase them constantly in a territorial way. Then suddenly get all smoochy and decide to turn on the charms for one lucky lady! Dont worry about it.Just feed them some white worms, brine shrimp etc. hopefully she will plump up with eggs and you will have a spawn. cheers
lorrainel
hey there, I just bought two new blue rams yesterday - normal ones not those balloon ones everyone goes on and on about. but i think both of them are boys! boohoo and now they're chasing each other around the tank! do u guys reckon i can take one of them back to animates i'm worried they'll hurt each other. btw how can i tell if they're boys or girls. i've been told about the red belly - but i thought one of them had a pinkish belly but maybe i was just seeing things
