Plantman Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 Hi, could those who has pond or knows if there ae any plant that would survive in NZ cold climate, say in auckland? other than ambulia what other plant can be consider for out door temperature. i imagine it will be around 10 degree c (out at night). i know most of the plant needs at least 18 degree according to the book. but i think ambulia can survive that cold. please correct me if i am wrong. what about Indian Fern, Rotala Indica, Polysperma, Anbulia, Hair Grass, Green Pine, Red Pine and Rotala macrandra. Alan Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 Cabomba does okay outdoors. It must do, I have seen it growing fantastically in the Waihi Gorge at a persons place.
