slappers
has anyone played with theses EDEN 228 Self-rotating Power Head “Wavelet†the unique and self-rotating water outlet system, makes this line of pumps the most technologically advanced and functional product in the field of professional and serious fish keeping. • These pumps, developed to enhance the efficiency of under-gravel filtration systems, are particularly indicated in marine tanks and in all other uses where the maximum of total water circulation will be required. • The unique construction of the Wavelet system which automatically and continuously moves from left to right and back, creates a wave effect which reaches even the most hidden corners of the tank ensuring the uniform circulation of all the water. • The rotating action is obtained hydraulically and without any added energy. petplanet
Sure have. Got some secondhand ones to get rid off. Replaced with a Seio. • These pumps, developed to enhance the efficiency of under-gravel filtration systems, are particularly indicated in marine tanks and in all other uses where the maximum of total water circulation will be required. Absolute crap on any sort of undergravel. These need to be run with a sponge as if the internals get dirty they stop rotating. I found the large size tended to derail if run at full speed. The smaller models were fine. They need cleaning a bit more regularly than other pumps to keep them rotating properly. They would be fantastic in a smaller tank. Probably not worth it in a larger setup.

TM
They are ok in small tanks, the largest is only 1000ltph. need to be maintained weekly. No point in any tank over 100ltr ish.

Jimmy
I use it for water movement. The rotating power head stops moving after a while. Not sure if that is the product or my fault.
