Billaney
Hi My wife Adele found some new barbs ( they were sold to her as Cherry Barbs  ) in the LFS and after looking them up with Kevin Rowe we think they are Barbus semifasciolatus / puntius semifasciolatus. They are similar to the golden barb but have a strong pinkish huge to them and green on there backs which does not show up well on the photo's. Any thoughts or are these again a new breed as we think, if so keep your eyes peeled in your LFS. Looking them up on the net , they seem to have a couple of common names , mostly Chinese Barb or Green Barb.
