To strip or not to strip..

Last monday I got some red zebra's and I got one that was holding in the lot.. Shes in her own seperate tank in the main tank and still holding. Im just wondering if I should strip her or not?

I have no idea how far along she is and dont want her to get hungry or stressed and eat them.. How far along do the babies need to be to survive outside her mouth? If I strip too early will she pick them back up and continue holding? I know shes been holding for at least a week tomorrow is that long enough?

Also does anyone have any tips on how to strip her if I do end up doing it? I have been looking at this site http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/stripping.php does this sound like a plan?
