KP
Im will be setting up my tank with closed loops and an overflow which will all go through the bottom pane of glass. Will these 5 or so 32mm holes scattered about a 900x500mm tank base, weaken the glass too much to withstand rock and pressure? Or will by simply increasing glass thickness be enough to stop my carpet from getting wet?
slappers
i think it will be fine. if you feel abit worried you could put some inside bracing around the bottom of the tank
suphew
How thick is the glass? if you use 10mm or thicker it would be fine. bracing roung the edges is a good idea to.
