Ok when the eggs have just been layed do they have a clear jelly substance around them as when moving a peice of wood n my newest tank I noticed somethig that I thought at first was old mouldy food  but looks like it could be some little orange eggs covered in some goo :o ? Placed the log back down and left it, but the one male in the tank dosent seem to hang around it.

ANY THOUGHTS?

ok well it sounds like they have fungused to me, especially if the male isnt covering them. Usually the male will stay on them, not even coming off them for food sometimes. Sorry mate, sounds like you've got a slack male :D nah, it may take them a couple of times to get used to it.

Hi,

I think I may have BN eggs my male has been out of sight for the last week I presume in the shipwreck, if there is eggs how long do they take to hatch, and the other thing was can they swim out of there when ready or not. Will i need to move the ship up and out for them to get out. I am just waiting patiently at the moment hoping, as I don't want to upset him or them.

Thanks

Dianne
