raeh1
Does anyone know who I can contact to get one made for my overflow. You know its plastic with teeth shapes cut into it to stop the wrong things going through the overflow into the sump. Cheers

chimera
yes its an overflow comb. you can get them from HFF i believe. i got mine custom made from north shore laser cutting ltd. made up a template, dropped off a piece of perspex to them. http://www.northshorelaser.co.nz/ they generally do larger jobs but guy did a cheapy coz i know him through a friend. usually quite expensive but if you want custom, not alot of options. suphew
I got the perspex and had it bend to the right shape by the shop I got it from, then cut my own comb using a dremil. Not as good a job as getting it laser cut but far cheaper and I had to adjust it once it was in place anyway. Gaps were about 5mm and 5mm between. Feelers
Is it possible to do a big group but on laser cutting? I was thinking that the majority of the cost was from getting the equipment setup, and the actual job doesnt cost too much, perhaps a big long peice of acrylic, and everyone can pay for their percentage of the lenght they cut off? Sound like an idea? Would that actually work? I spose the hieght of the comb might be a problem.
raeh1
$78 per metre at hollwoods. Cost me $22 for mine. Just not worth the hassle.
