ryanjury
Im just wondering if anyone has bred these or know anything about breeding these as I just witnessed some very odd behaviour from my 2 in my community tank.. The bigger one was chasing the smaller one around in circles (similair to egg scatterers breeding). Does anyone know how to sex them or anything? It was just bizare how they were behaving and they are perfectly normal now..
HummingBird
From what I've read they need a 10 foot + tank to breed. They swim along really fast next to each other and bump into each other while releasing/fertilising the eggs. So you're probably not going to have any luck trying to get them to go at it in your tank

ryanjury
LOL Yeah I figured as much just thought it was pretty odd behaviour I had heard that silver sharks were hard to breed I thought it was something to do with the size of the adult fish and tanks etc..
