ryanjury
Does anyone have any inovative solutions on how I can leave my internal filter in the tank with fry and not have them sucked up or killed? Its in my bedroom and I hate the sound of bubbles and cant sleep so dont want to use a sponge filter..
Faran
You can get a shark power filter with the fry-guard or just cover the inlets with a bit of stocking. Stocking requires a bit of maintenance or the filter gets real slow real quick. Hapy X-Mas!
ryanjury
Yeah stockings or filter wool was about the best I could come up with as well.. Its a fluval 3+ so can be turned down a bit but that doesn't do much, fully grown cockatoo's aren't the strongest swimmers so it would have the babies im sure... Anyway thanks and merry xmas to you too!
