chimera
do you have a sump? if so do you have baffles in it? if not, you will probably need some. over, under, over with 1.5" spacing (or thereabouts) like this: the egg-crate thing is just an add-on i made to hold carbon in a stocking its the water splashing around in the sump that usually causes bubbles in the display tank. Seth
Thanks I think my skimmer outlet is to close to my pump (duh) I moved it and have seen a marked inprovement Still some though In that your baffles how does the water run through them ? Is it coming over the top of the last piece of glass and gong through the eggcrate wouldnt that make more bubbles?
chimera
not the best shot - the water level usually sits much higher than what you see in the picture so its got less distance to drop thus less bubbles. water levels usually sits about 1/2 way up the height of the eggcrate.
