herefishiefishie
The 6 foot tank I have set up as a display tank, is filled with a mixture of Altolamprologus(Comps & Calvus of a few varities) & Malawis & a couple of bristles for cleaning. Firstly the Electric yellows, (in there for color), bred about a month ago. Then the pseudotropheus aceiis, bred the week after, (there to contrast the yellows.) Then the bristlenose(cleaning) bred in a barnacle shell meant for the altos. If you look closely you can see them. They are in the hole dad is half covering. Today..... It bred in that... she can't get in there fully, so how she laid the eggs :-? I noticed a compressiceps"kigoma" hanging around a shell the last 3 or 4 days, the shell was an ornament, in there for well.... :-? now breeding. Couldn't get a clear pic of the eggs as of the angle. But I can see, eggs & wrigglers in there. So much for display tank. I am glad the breeding tanks have been a little quieter. Fry tanks for sale anyone??? Frenchy
herefishiefishie
Thanks for that, I moved mum & shell into a 2 foot tank. Not many eggs in there. See how they go... In this tank are young caudopunctatus, aceii & white calvus. I can't see any aceii in this pic, maybe camera shy... Frenchy
