nickyboi
Whats the deal with fish shops buying fish that you have bred? Im in Auckland and have some breeding and want to sell them to LFS's if possible. Whats the best angle for these people?
HummingBird
Some shops don't buy from the public, just ask them. Say I've got x number of baby whatever's and I want to sell them. Haggle, always haggle. Especially if you've got high demand fish (gba's, kilies, etc)
Alan
As a good guide Check on the price of the same fish in the LFS. All things being equal, you should be able to get just under half of what they are selling for. Any less they are ripping you off. More than 100% increase is price gouging. You've done the work, get paid for it. If they don't talk turkey, stand outside the shop and sell them at what price you should be getting.
